The Essence of Being?

I was thinking over the weekend on this.
I think being mindful is very important. Being in the now. Always mindful of things.
Breathing. Feeling each breath.
Feeling your senses. Touching, smelling, seeing, tasting. Being in the now, with these senses. Taste what your cup of tea tastes like. Feel the warmth.
One other thing I was thinking about it to remember to step back. Step out of myself and see things in the third person. I’ve always wondered about how to see/do this. It’s obvious. Look through a child’s eyes. 🙂
